Entering the Champions Hockey League's Game Day 6, three of the 16 teams that would advance to the playoff stage were known. After Tueday's 18 games, that number has increased to 14.

After the results of Tuesday's games we now know 14 of the 16 teams that will advance beyond the group stage to the playoff stage of the 2014–15 Champions Hockey League. Nine out of 11 group winners and all of the five best second-place teams have been decided. The final two playoff qualifiers will be known after Wednesday's games.

Group D – Fribourg-Gottéron (SUI)
Group E – Tappara Tampere (FIN)
Group F – Linköping HC (SWE)
Group H – SaiPa Lappeenranta (FIN)
Group I – Red Bull Salzburg (AUT)
Group J – Skellefteå AIK (SWE)
Group K – Lukko Rauma (FIN)
2nd-place teams with best records:
Luleå Hockey (SWE) 15 points
Genève-Servette (SUI) 15 points
IFK Helsinki (FIN) 14 points
JYP Jyväskylä (FIN) 13 points
TPS Turku (FIN) 12 points
On Wednesday, the winners of Group A (Karpät Oulu or Bílí Tygři Liberec) and Group G (Vaxjö Lakers or Sparta Prague) will be decided.
