They started with a two-goal deficit and knew they needed to get the offence going. Three times Lukko struck to get within a goal, and three times HV71 answered. Finally, the club from Jonkoping pulled away and they're off to the next round.

HC Pilsen 3–3 HC Lugano
Lugano win on aggregate 7–4
HC Lugano celebrated reach the last 16 in their first CHL season after a relatively comfortable 7-4 aggregate win over Czech side HC Pilsen.
SaiPa Lappeenranta 4–2 Tappara Tampere
SaiPa win on aggregate 6–2
Tappara needed to make up a two-goal aggregate deficit and came at SaiPa hard, out-shooting them 34-16, but Jussi Markkanen was amazing in net and SaiPa won the game and the two-game set.
Karpat Oulu 0–1 Sparta Prague
Sparta win on aggregate 2–1 (OT)
After 60 scoreless minutes, where Sami Aittokallio and Tomas Popperle stopped everything, Miroslav Forman was the hero in overtime to knock out last year's finalists, and send Sparta through to the next round.
HK Nitra 0–5 Vitkovice Ridera Ostrava
Vitkovice win on aggregate 12–0
They had a firm grasp already, but Vitkovice added another five goals to their tally, and set a CHL record for largest margin of victory on aggregate in the process.
IFK Helsinki 5–4 TPS Turku
IFK Helsinki win on aggregate 6–5 (SO)
It would require taking the lead four separate times on Tuesday, but IFK Helsinki will move on to the round of 16 in November following a 6-5 aggregate victory over TPS Turku.
