Brock McBride has received supplementary disciplinary action for an incident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Champions Hockey League action. As a result, he will miss two games.

Brock McBride of Villach SV was involved in a confrontation with a Frölunda Gothenburg player late in Sunday's game and assessed a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct for roughing at 50:17. He was ruled off the ice for the duration of the game.

Following a review by the CHL's Disciplinary Sports Board, McBride was given a two-game suspension and will miss his team's two remaining games in the group stage of the tournament.
